Grants and scholarships

We support organizations that share our values and commitment to strengthening our communities.

Our efforts focus on underserved women, youth and students, and on programs that address homelessness and housing affordability, barrier reduction and scholarships for these populations.

Testimonials and moments of impact

"Symetra understands that homelessness is rarely just about housing — it's about the barriers that stand between families and stability. Their investment in our work reflects a genuine commitment to equity, to women and children, and to the kind of long-term change that transforms lives. We are inspired by what we've been able to accomplish together."

— Dominique Alex, CEO, Mary's Place, Seattle

“The partnership between Symetra and UI REACH continues to create meaningful opportunities for students with intellectual, cognitive, and learning disabilities at the University of Iowa. Your support advances our strategic priorities by strengthening student support and inclusion and helping address financial barriers so more students and families can access postsecondary education.”

— Bill Loyd, Director, University of Iowa REACH

“We are grateful for Symetra’s continued partnership and investment in our families and caregivers. Your support allows us to create meaningful, healing-centered spaces for women—particularly those from historically marginalized communities—to build resilience and strengthen their families.”

— Chantel Gray, Vice President of Program Services, Boys and Girls Club of Greater Hartford
